Walt's spirit of innovation lives on as you enter a place that thrills and challenges you with new discoveries, and celebrates the variety and richness of international diversity. our the celebration for a look at a beautiful new parade, activities that get kids involved in a dream come true and interactive kiosks that take you behind the magic.

Tapestry of Dreams

New characters called dream-spinners and colourful new float called the Dream catcher will be part of the makeover that transform the popular Tapestry of Nations into ‘Tapestry of Dreams.’

The Tapestry of Nations street festival at Epcot has been transformed into a parade celebrating children, dreams and the legacy of Walt Disney.

Tapestry of Dreams, a not-to-be-missed Epcot event appearing twice every evening, is as big and colorful as your dreams. Staged on the promenade of World Showcase Lagoon, this symphony of motion, color, sculpture and rhythm swells into a moving street festival of larger-than-life puppets daring you to dance, to hum, to reach out and touch the dreams that are coming to life before you.

“This parade surrounds World Showcase with enormous drums, fanciful puppets and spectacular pageantry,” says Haupt. “It celebrates the dreamer in all of us.”

Throughout the day at Epcot, Kidcot activity kiosks around World Showcase will offer children cardboard compasses illustrating the 11 World Showcase countries with a press-out “coin” in the center of the compass. As the nightly procession begins, recorded voices of children tell their dreams for the world as three “dream spinners” dance along. During the parade, young guests can make a wish as they toss their “coins” into a dream catcher that passes by the procession.

“The dream spinners call upon the guests to imagine a vision of the future where all of our best dreams come true,” says producer Taz Marosi. The dreams are woven into a tapestry of vibrant sights and sounds as the parade, with brilliant puppets that conjure up spirits, angels, birds and other ethereal creations encircling World Showcase.

“The parade explodes with rhythm, color and music,” said Marosi. “It’s a brand new experience.”

Kidcot Fun Spots

The most important artists in Tapestry of Dreams are your kids. During the day, they'll visit these special play and craft areas to draw, write, stamp, color, and create their own personal dreams on a paper star. At night, they'll take a piece of that star and "wish" their dreams into reality during the most moving moment of our Tapestry of Dreams parade.

Innoventions East is home to kiosks that invite the curious to explore events in Disney history that led to the creation of Epcot.
