Board Captain Hook's flying pirate ship and sail through
the sky from London to Never Land. Watch as Wendy, John, and Michael
are sprinkled with pixie dust, fly off with Peter Pan, and meet
Captain Hook.

Though they don't visit far-off planets, guests board
pirate ships and head to the stars (actually, just the "Second Star
to the Right" to be more precise) above London in this classic Fantasyland
attraction in Magic Kingdom. Based on Disney's animated feature
about the boy who refuses to grow up, Peter Pan's Flight enchants
young and old with its detailed, scale-model view of London. Doused
with a heaping helping of pixie dust, pirate galleons magically
lift off from Wendy Darling's home on their way to the heavens.

Reviews
"I remember when I was very little and I lived
only 20 minutes away from Disney World. I LOVED Peter Pan's flight.
It is not fast and intense like most rides I now enjoy riding, but
it is still fun just to remember the story and go flying in a ship.
I didn't use a fast pass, because when I was little, they didn't
have them! I don't recall any long lines, but you may want a Fast
Pass (just in case.) I love it! Even though I'm 12 now, it's still
neat! I am going to Disney World tomorrow, and I can't wait to ride
it again!" Jessica
"Peter Pan's Flight, in my mind, is the best
attraction in Fantasyland, and is my second favorite dark ride in
the park, only behind The Haunted Mansion. Fan of the movie or not,
you are bound to love this attraction. The details are stunning,
right down to the pirate ships which serve as your ride vehicles.
The charm of this ride starts in the queue, with wonderful music
overhead. The precedes a glorious flight over nighttime London,
which automatically makes this one the most romantic rides in WDW.
When you hit Never Land, kids begin to squeal with delight, as they
meet up with their favorite characters. Peter Pan, Wendy, the Lost
Boys, and of course Captain Hook is all there, followed by everyone's
favorite alligator.
This attraction sports FASTPASS which can be very useful in the
middle of the day. If you have small children, make a beeline for
Peter Pan's Flight right when the ropes drop, for lines get long
here. If you are not planning to see the parade at 3:00 P.M., ride
Peter Pan's Flight then, because Fantasyland emptys out when all
of the small children go to see the Share A Dream Come True parade.
If all else fails, FASTPASS is always a very good option.(I cannot
stress enough of the advantages of FASTPASS!)
Overall, this is a fabulous attraction, one that should not be missed,
regardless of your age." Jared
"An excellent attraction, one of the best in
the Magic Kingdom. If you are a fan of Dark Rides and Disney Films,
you cannot miss a ride on Peter Pan's Flight. You are taken on a
moon-lit flight around the Darling Nursey, over the rooftops of
London, the high hills of Neverland and over the heads of the devious
pirates as they force poor Wendy to walk the plank! Unlike "its
a small world", this attraction is so good that you will want to
try it again and again! The charming flow of music during the queue
is all part of the excitment! The best thing is when you are queuing
and you can see the sails of the flying ships passing over the heads
of the crowd! Each "flying ship" vehicle is well detailed and is
suspended from an overhead track which is hidden in the darkness
of the building, to make you thing you are really flying! Special
wheels are added to the cars whichh allow them to pass up sloped
track without tipping backwards and down sloped track without tipping
forwards! NOT ! MISS THIS RIDE! IT WOULD BE A SIN NOT TO EVEN LOOK
AT IT!
1. For a better view of the ride, sit on the right side of the car.
2. If you dont use Fast Pass, the queue area is always enchanting
with the theme of "You can Fly!, playing continuosly in the back
round (and it won't anny you like small world!)
3. Watch for the shadow of Peter on the wall of the Nursey, which
you pay a short visit to at the beginning of the ride!
Attracts heavy queues so visit either first thing, during a parade
or in the evening. If you are visiting the Magic Kingdom more then
once, then try to see Peter Pan for a second time to refresh your
mind with the many turns and effects of the ride (they are sure
to stick with you for a long time), its always a treat! If you didn't
like the the first time, never mind! " Joe.O.Smith
"I enjoy Peter's Flight it has alot from the
movie that brings back memories of even reading the book. I really
feel that I'm there in London and Neverland. The colors are bright
and attractive to get your attention. Flying over London at night
is so romantic.
I just wish that the ride was slower to really look at everything,
sometimes it seems to go so fast. I know a ride needs to be refurbished
at times but we are all sad when the tarps and boards are up and
around this ride." Tomalee
