How long have you worked at WDW?
17+ months for the Disney Company, almost 1 yr for WDW.

Where in WDW do you work?
CRO

What would be a typical day's work for you?
Eight hours attached to a telephone headset and PC, booking guest resort and dining arrangements, and dispensing general information to guests about WDW.

What do you like most about working at WDW?
The feeling of being a part of something that is collectively bigger and more powerful than we are as individuals; making people believe that we have created something truly magical just for them; and the freedom to immerse myself in that magic whenever I like.

Do you have a particular magical memory that sticks in your mind, from working at WDW?
I once got a call from a very unassuming lady who was trying to get an additional night in the Contemporary tower at a MKC rate. She and her husband were bringing their 18 yr old son to stay there for the first -- and last -- time. The Contemporary tower had always been his dream, and he was terminally ill. They tried going through Make A Wish, but the organization couldn't get them in within the son's life expectancy.
I worked with a supervisor to get the room for the extra night (it was overbooked), and I called Guest Services at the Contemporary and arranged for balloons and a welcome message from the characters in their room. I went to Property Control and bought a WDW 2000 snowglobe that featured the Fab Five looped through the numbers in "2000", and it played Celebrate The Future Hand In Hand. I got a box for it and wrapped it up, wrote a card to the family, and had the front desk leave it in the room.

If you could give one tip to someone visiting WDW, what would it be?
Magic is a two-way street. The *guest* has to believe, too, for it to happen.
