Your adventure begins with a city tour lasting approximately
2 hours along Acapulco ’s most popular beach areas with a
photo stop at Linda Vista. Then, you’ll arrive at the La
Perla Restaurant in the Hotel Mirador. Here, you’ll have
a spectacular open-air view of the La Quebrada cliffs as divers
perform daring acts of acrobatic grace from heights of 90 to 130
feet. During the show, a hearty Mexican buffet lunch and beverages
will be served. Photographers will be on hand to take a complimentary
photo of you and your party at your table, with the dramatic cliffs

Shopping and sightseeing—what a great combination! After
an approximate 20-minute ride, this half-day excursion begins with
a trip to see the famous cliff divers of La Quebrada, and another
approximate 20-minute ride brings you to Fort San Diego , built
by the Spaniards in 1617. Today, the fort houses a museum depicting
the city’s fascinating history. Then it’s off to the
Costera, the beginning of Acapulco ’s Golden Coast , approximately
20 minutes away. Here, Acapulco ’s finest shopping opportunities
await your best bargaining skills for handmade items and souvenirs.
After an hour of shopping, you’ll depart for the approximately
20-minute return to the ship.

Acapulco Horseback Riding (4 - 4.5 hours)
Saddle up! Riders ages 10 and up can mount a well-trained horse
for a leisurely ride through Mexico ’s scenic landscape.
An approximate 45-minute ride takes you to an authentic working
ranch, where you’ll mount a horse after a brief orientation
and mosey off for a 1-hour guided tour amid lush green vegetation
and fruit trees, babbling streams and a coconut farm. You’ll
ford a river and trot past a small town and homes that appear unchanged
from a half-century ago. After the ride, you’ll return to
the ranch for a box lunch and beverages before the approximate
45-minute ride back to the ship.

life. After a scenic walk of approximately 15 minutes, the tour
begins just a few blocks away from the ship at Fort San Diego ,
where you’ll delve into the city’s colorful past and
Spanish heritage. Then, an approximate 10-minute walk takes you
to a unique mask shop before strolling approximately 15 minutes
to the traditional center of early Acapulco, the Zocalo, as your
guide describes points of interest along the way. The tree-shaded
Zocalo, or town square, is lined with quaint shops and restaurants
that you can explore for approximately 1 hour before the approximate
20-minute walk back to the ship. Or, if you prefer to linger, you
may stay and return to the ship at your leisure.

base, you’ll be escorted to the pier, where the Shot Over
jet boat awaits to take you on ride of your life. Prepare for takeoff
as the boat shoots into the heart of the jungle. The boat operator
will skillfully maneuver through the mangroves of the Puerto Marques
tropical lagoon while traveling over the water at top speed. Hang
on while the boat makes dizzying 360-degree spins and hairpin turns

or marketplace, with stops for photos at Linda Vista and a 20-minute
tour of the Chapel of Peace along the way. Upon arriving at the
marketplace, you’ll visit colorful stalls brimming with local
produce, flowers and a variety of handcrafted items. Then it’s
approximately 30 minutes to the next stop, the La Perla Restaurant
in the Hotel Mirador, which overlooks the La Quebrada cliffs. Here,

trainer answers questions and shows you how to interact with the
dolphins for approximately 30 minutes. You’ll also have time
to enjoy the water park’s rides and amenities outside of
your assigned dolphin encounter session. Lunch and a complementary
beverage are included in this excursion, and two departure times
are available for the approximate 20-minute return ride to the
ship.
