Did You Notice...Hidden Attractions at Disney Resorts

 

 

In the Grand Floridian lobby, near the large birdcage, there is a mousehole in the baseboard.

Collect pressed pennies from the many pressed penny machines located throughout the resorts & parks.

Check out the petting zoo at Fort Wilderness.

Contact the Grand Floridian & ask when the tour is available, & make a reservation.

Take the walk from the Polynesian to the Grand Floridian along the beach, stopping off at the wedding pavilion.

Check out the animal tracks in the cement outside of the Wilderness Lodge.

See the electrical water pageant every night from the beach at one of the deluxe resorts.

Watch the Grand Floridian Housekeepers perform a parasol parade in the Grand Floridian courtyard Mondays and Thursdays at 8:30am.

In the Great Ceremonial House at the Polynesian resort, join the cast members each day at 4:30pm to sing the Polynesian anthem "Aloha Makes Your Dreams Come True".

At 6pm each day, there is a traditional torch lighting ceremony at the Polynesian, followed by Polynesian storytelling in the Great Ceremonial House.

Every Thursday at 11am, visit the Polynesian to take part in the ladybug release, a pest control program that allows guests to release ladybugs.

Go to the 4th floor balcony at Wilderness Lodge, and watch Fire Rock Geyser erupt.

Go resort hopping, & try to do something different at each resort, you could even buy a souvenir or food/drink at each resort.

At Fort Wildnerness there is a tree with a lawnmower that has become part of the tree, heading towards Pioneer Hall from the boat dock.

"In some of the stores around disney there are nostalgic looking games and picture viewers that acually work. they look like decoration, but they really work! They usually cost a dime and are pretty cool."

"In the Contemporary Resort by the monorail station is a large floor to ceiling mosiac. One of the goats has five legs. Can you spot it?"

"Take the hayride at Fort Wilderness. The view of the fireworks and the electrical water paegent are incredible. A not to miss."

 

Downtown Disney

Check out the lego creations outside the lego store, there is a man sitting on a bench asleep & snoring!

The Art of Disney Store runs a trivia quiz daily with prizes.
