Evening Tips

If the parks are shut or you just need a break from the parks, but can't think of anything to do in the evenings here are some ideas.

Visit the Boardwalk, where you can shop, eat, go to a club, or just walk along taking in the atmosphere.

Hop on the monorail & tour the Magic Kingdom resorts. You could expore the resorts, have dinner, look at the shops, or even have your portrait painted.

Ask for the hidden Mickey list at Wilderness Lodge. After you've finished hunting you can get a cup of hot chocolate & relax in one of the rocking chairs in the lobby.

Visit DisneyQuest at Downtown Disney.

Watch the Electric Water Pageant from the beach at one of the MK resorts, times may vary but are usually -- Polynesian - 9:00pm, Grand Floridian - 9:15pm, Wilderness Lodge - 9:35pm, Fort Wilderness - 9:45pm, Contemporary - 10:05pm.

Go to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue at Fort Wilderness - you'll need to make reservations well in advance.

Have a round of mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland.

Go to Cirque du Soleil at Downtown Disney Westside.

Go shopping at Downtown Disney.

Tour the clubs at Plesaure Island, not forgetting the Adventurer's Club!

Have a nice meal at one of the MK resorts, then take a leisurely stroll along the beach, you may just catch the Electric Water Pageant or the MK fireworks.

If it's warm enough take a dip in the pool at your resort.

"If possible go resort hopping. If you have a tight budget amd can't go to the deluxe or moderate resort's. It's fun to see all the different resorts."

"I always have fun at dusk just walking around the sidewalks all around the Seven Seas Lagoon. It's beautiful to see the sunsetting on the Magic Kingdom; Cinderella's Castle; and all of the beautiful resorts."

"Go on the monorail which goes right through the middle of the contemporary resort. You could also sit at the side lines, watching it,and the people on it,go by."

"If you are staying at a resort that has a beach, go take a moonlit stroll."

"its nice when u ride in the monorail to see the entire site at night we did this and had 2 wait for another train to pass and while it was quiet my 2 1/2 yr. old daughter said out loud " god nite magic kingdom!!" everyone on board was awww so cute !!!" (4/03)

"Head over to Fort Wilderness and have a cocktail at Crockets. It isn't far from the boat transportation. Sit on the porch in a rocking chair and enjoy the sights and sounds. If you have children, they can be playing in the playground nearby. Time it so that you are at the Fort Wilderness beach for the Magic Kingdom fireworks. You can watch them from the dock or from a lounge chair on the beach. Then continue to hang around till the Electric Water Pagent comes around." (10/04)
