Attraction Fear Factors

When visiting WDW, don't get too caught up in the excitement & forget that your child may be scared by some of the rides. Some attractions are even too scary for some adults! If your child is afraid of the dark don't take them on a ride that is too dark (e.g. Snow White's Scary Adventure). Don't drag your child on every ride 'just to get your money's worth', it will take the enjoyment away from your child & ruin the trip for everyone.
Before taking your child on any ride, explain what the ride entails & leave it up to the child to decide if he/she wants to go on that ride - don't force them!
If your child is afraid of the dark, it might help to take a small pen light or glow worm for on the dark rides.
If an attraction is not listed below it means that it doesn't have any fright factors.

Baby Swap

Families who have small children who aren't old/tall enough to go on certain rides can ask to do the 'baby swap' on certain rides.

To do 'Baby swap' on a ride there must be 2 adults. Adults and children wait in line together and when the first attendant in line is met, tell them that you want to do the baby swap. At the loading area, one adult rides and the other stays with the children. Then the other adult stays with the children while the first adult rides.

See the ride restrictions page for details of height requirements for the rides.
