chosen to vanquish the beasts. Mount one of two Dueling Dragons
in the world's first inverted, duel-track, near-miss, roller-coaster
air-battle. This heart-pounding ride sends you soaring up to 125
ft. in the air at speeds of 60 mph. You'll ride one of two distinct
simultaneously running tracks that put you inches away from collision.
There's no other ride quite like it anywhere.

the town of Merlinwood!
Ice Coaster - Ride with the Ice Dragon as it stalks Merlin's Castle!

Guests in wheelchairs must transfer to ride's seating.
This ride employs safety restraints which may not accomodate certain
people due to their body shape or size. There is a replica ride
seat at the ride entrance which you can try out before riding.
Not recommended for expectant mothers.
Not recommended for guests with a history of neck or back conditions,
heart conditions, those in plaster casts, or for those susceptible
to motion sickness.
Tips
Store any loose items, glasses, cameras, etc in lockers provided.
For die-hard coaster fans, there is a line for the front seat of
the coaster.
The Fire Dragon has a few more twists and turns than the Ice Dragon.
To get a close look at the ride, enter the queue, or go in through
the exit to the viewing point.
Facts/History
Dueling Dragons are the world’s first inverted dual roller coasters.
Called the Fire Dragon and the Ice Dragon, each four-abreast inverted
coaster follows a different path and provides a different ride experience.
The cars race towards each other and experience several near misses
by only 12 inches.
The Fire Dragon drops 105 feet from the top of a common 125-foot
tall lift, reaching a speed of nearly 60 mph; and the Ice Dragon
drops right 95 feet reaching a speed of 55 mph.
Each track includes several inversions, including a zero-G roll,
a Cobra roll, two corkscrews and two vertical loops.

rides I had been on since I got to disney well other than Hulk!
Dueling dragons in a very high speed and intense ride but it was
a lot of fun I like the fire dragon the best!! but the other one
was good too. Surprisingly we did not have to wait not longer than
30 mins thats good at that kind of park! I did not have a fast pass.

"Duelling dragons is the best rollercoaster i've
ever been on it is an amazing track design (with the dueling combinations)
and the line is really good as well. "Past this point of no return
your only choice is to freeze or burn", I would definatly choose
to freeze the ice dragon is much better than the fire, its a lot
smother and it has a boomarang (cobra roll) people just say fire's
better because it goes a little faster but fire's too jerky and
bumps around too much, it also repeats the same element (a corkskrew).
Fire is still a good roller coaster just nothing compared with the
ice dragon. I would recomend not getting an express pass for this
ride as it will usually not make much difference, the line is so
long that by the time you get to the ride most of the que has gone
(if you're not queing for the front row that is). I would also recomend
ridding in the back seats if you want the best thrill, or in the
second row if you want to see what's going on, this way you don't
have to que for so long for the front row seats and you won't have
to wait for the ride to go by more than 3 times max, its a great
way of saving time. I think that this ride is much better than the
Hulk, the only good part about the Hulk is the begining whereass

"Much better than the Hulk. A truely unique coaster,
one of the best I've ever been on! Try not to touch the track at
the entrance. The Hulk was nothing compared to this ride! More thrilling
intensity and exitement, and a thicker theme and definetly more
frightening! I was endulged by this ride, and rode it 4 times!"

"Not as good as Hulk, but still great and the
line is never as long as Hulks. I liked fire the best but both are
fun. Go anytime, the line is suprisingly never that long."
