Guiness
World of Records Experience
The "all-new"
adventure based on The Guinness Book of Records will give visitors
the opportunity to experience first-hand what it takes to be a
Guinness World Record Holder. Immersed in a mulitmedia, interactive,
18,000 square foot environment, the visitor's experience will
be limited only by their imagination.
As you approach
our attraction from a distance and as you enter the lobby, you
will not our architectural feature a 55 feet high by 75 feet square
inverted pyramid which touches down within our lobby just 7 feet
from the floor. Inside the pyramid we present a colorful and dynamic
show of giant proportions. The following is a run through of our
museum in brief from start to finish:
Guinness
World Theater
"The Birth of an Institution", where in our Guinness World Theater
the story of Hugh Beaver, Managing Director of the Guinness Brewery
and founder of The Guinness Book of Records, takes a look back
at how it all began. We introduce our two hosts in this theater
and they add to the fun and amazing world that is "Guinness World
Records." You are also presented with the "world" of Guinness
through a multimedia theater production set to take you to the
brink of human endurance and endeavor.
You will see
the true scope that tests the limits of curiosity and human nature.
Why do people want to get in the book? Witness how and why so
many fail! Alas, our helpful hosts "shrink" you down to "size"
as we ready you for entrance into our Computer Gateway.
Computer
Gateway/ Micro-Technology Playground
Test your "Guinness" trivia knowledge at the "Monster Monitor"
and be prepared to enter the Computer Database of Guinness World
Records. Serving as the entrance to the Micro-Technology Playground,
where children ages 1 to 99 will interact and experience world
records like never before, you will even the opportunity to attempt
your own Guinness World Record! Molecular Expander/Transporter
& Space Shuttle.
You remain
in a micro-molecular "Guinness" state, so we bring you back to
size, but wait, during the process you come face-to-face with
the largest medical marvel ever documented. Wow, proceed with
caution and great expectation as you enter the Space Shuttle,
with the bay doors now open, you are in outer space and we see
the universe clearly and all its many Guinness World Records!
