If you arrive in time
for park opening, head straight for the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster,
then to Tower of Terror. Next go on Star Tours, then the Great
Movie Ride. Then see Voyage of the Little Mermaid & MuppetVision
3D. Fit in 'Lights! Motors! Action!' in between according to showtimes.
Check out the tip boards
for current attraction wait times, one is at the intersection of
Hollywood Boulevard & Sunset Boulevard, the other is on New
York Street.
The most popular attractions
are the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, 'Lights! Motors! Action!', Tower
of Terror, Great Movie Ride
& Star Tours.
On the Tower of Terror,
follow the left queue from the basement, it's usually shorter.
On the Tower of Terror,
when you enter the library, walk over to the far corner (diagonal
from the door), you will then be first through the door for the
ride.
If you plan on seeing
any of the live shows, check the times on the guidemap then plan
other attraction visits between the show times. The earlier shows
will be less crowded.
To get a good seat at
shows, you need to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled
show time. You'll be entertained by the pre-show while you wait.
At MuppetVision 3D, any
seat in the theater has a good view. Be sure to catch the pre-show.
Seats at Beauty and the
Beast show are adequately raised, but seats at the front still offer
the best views.
In Voyage of the Little
Mermaid, all seats are good, but seats towards the centre have the
best view of the special effects.
Queues at most attractions
will be shortest during Fantasmic.
If there are two showings
of Fantasmic, see the second, it will be less crowded.
To get a good seat for
Fantasmic, you need to get in line around 1.5 hours early, or earlier
on very busy days. The pre-show is good & keeps you entertained
until showtime.
People sitting on the
first few rows at Fantasmic will get wet from the spray off the
water screens.
The quietest rest rooms
are just outside the main entrance, inside the Hollywood Brown Derby,
and inside Mama Melrose's.
"After you exit the
theater of Drew Carey's Sounds Dangerous, you come to a room with
different activities. Most people just pass these by, but you shouldn't.
The station where you can record you voice over a scene from a movie
or TV show is especially fun. Also, if you really liked Sounds Dangerous,
there are booths with headphones that offer a similar 3-D sound
experience."
"One of the best
days to go is an overcast day in the summer especially august. Tourists
not aware of the intense humidity and sporadic rain showers of Florida
will be scared away but it will still ne "nice" and warm."
