It's everything you love about Halloween, plus the fantasy of the
Magic Kingdom. The Park is all dressed up for a special Halloween
treat and the trick is to guess which character is hiding behind
their costume. A one-of-a-kind Halloween Parade, with your favorite
villains, and trick-or-treating stations throughout the Park make
this event a sweet treat.

Happy HalloWishes
Ghostly (if not ghastly) Disney villains haunt the sky above Magic
Kingdom with "trick-or-treat!" exclamations during performances
of an all-new fireworks show being presented exclusively during
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties in 2005 at Walt Disney
World Resort.
"Happy HalloWishes" turns the nighttime sky into an overhead canvas
for blasts of color and stunning visual effects set to spooky music
from family-friendly Disney attractions and movies -- such as Haunted
Mansion and "The Nightmare Before Christmas" -- plus the voices
of memorable Disney characters such as Madame Leota, Ursula, Jafar,
Maleficent and Oogie Boogie. It all builds to an explosive "Halloween
Scream-along" finale.

Reviews
"We attended mickey's halloween party in 2004.
That was our 4th visit to Orlando, but the 1st time we went to Mickey's
party. It was really good, our kids loved it aged 7, 5, & 3,
and so did the adults!!!! The kids dressed up in power rangers &
batman costumes and got lots of attention from the staff, which
they loved. We got lots of sweets especially towards the end of
the evening, as you can imagine the kids liked that!! The park was
quiet, and not too many queues. We will definitely go again the
next time we visit." (1/05) Nicky, Southampton, England.
"I went last year and it was AMAZING! The longest
line area was fantasyland but if you enter the park right on time...theres
no wait and right before the park closes...you can go on unlimited!
It was amazing and i plan on going again this week!" (10/04)

"HAD GREAT FUN---THOUGH WE HAD ENOUGH POPCORN
FOR 10 FAMILIES! The parade was nice but if you are in frontier
land ---its dark! Loved the Headless Horseman but dont blink because
you might miss him! We plan to attend again this year!"
"We attended the Halloween party last year (2001).
It was great. Done up only like Disney can do. The decorations were
great! How do they transform an entire park in such a short time?!?
Main street was lit up with flying ghosts and witches. All of the
characters were in costume. The kids trick or treated throughout
the park. What a great time! Just a tip... everyone is dressed in
"nice" costumes. Nothing scary, no goblins or ghouls. Most were
dresses as disney characters. This is a must for a true Disney lover!!!!"
"I decided it would be fun to go in costume -
as Tinker Bell! I'd say about 50% or more of people were in costume,
ranging from those with just a funny hat on, to elaborate costumes.
Some of the best I saw were a lady dressed as a Christmas Tree (lights
and all!), a Flintstone family, Wizard of Oz family, a few Harry
Potters, and so many more. It really added to the enjoyment, spotting
all the different costumes.
I arrived before the opening time of 7pm, but they had already started
letting people in. Main Street looked fantastic - all lit up in
bright colours, with ghost shadows projected onto buildings, pumpkins
dotted around, and Haunted Mansion music playing in the background.
Everyone is handed a "Trick-or-Treat" bag on the way in,
and there are many "Trick-or-Treat" stations dotted around
the park, giving handfuls of candy and stickers. I got quite a collection
by the end of the night!
The queues for the rides were about average, although I only went
on one ride all night. The lines for the fortune tellers were very
long, so I didn't bother with that.
I staked out a spot for the parade around an hour early in Liberty
Square. Although it didn't really fill up until just before the
parade started. I expected the parade to come from the Frontierland
direction, but it came from Main Street, so I was sat facing the
wrong way (towards Frontierland). It's the second parade that comes
from Frontierland. The headless horseman came riding through before
the parade, but be warned - blink and you'll miss him!
I decided to give the Riverboat Cruise a go after the parade, as
it was advertised as having characters onboard. Big mistake! The
seats downstairs were taken by those with wheelchairs, leaving standing
room only. A group of musicians started off playing, followed by
a lady telling a 'spooky' story. It was freezing cold and I ended
up going sitting inside waiting for the cruise to end. To top it
off there wasn't a character in sight.
At various locations around the park were DJ's, playing party music
all night. On occassions you could find characters there dancing
with the kids.
At first I was disappointed at the lack of characters. But later
in the night I discovered quite a few. Suzy, Perla and the Fairy
Godmother were by Cinderella's coach by the Castle. Cinderella was
also there. Suzy thought it was great fun playing with my wand and
trying to get me to teach her how to fly! Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and
Piglet, all dressed in their Halloween costumes, were in the Fantasyland
character greeting area, but there was a long wait. At around 11:30pm,
I discovered a big group of villains in front of the Castle. On
my way out I spotted Mickey and Minnie, wearing fabulous Halloween
costumes, in Town Square. I just got in line before they closed
it.
All in all I had a fantastic night, and would certainly do it again.
The atmosphere was great, so much better than Mickey's Very Merry
Christmas Party!
My photos can be seen in the photo
section." Joanne
