ORLANDO - Three wild California sea lions have been relocated to SeaWorld Orlando after eating endangered fish.
Government officials made the decision to move the group of mammals into captivity after research found they were eating too many salmon and steelhead trout -- both endangered or near-endangered fish, according to SeaWorld officials.
The sea lions will be quarantined for a month before being introduced to the general population at the theme park.
Up to 12 sea lions will be relocated to SeaWorld parks nationwide.
