Drink lots of water, you can easily become dehydrated in the heat.
Stay clear of carbonated drinks, tea & coffee. Dehydration
can lead to weakness, fatigue, and eventually heat stroke due
to the body's reduced ability to regulate its temperature.
Carry
a small bottle of water around with you, you can buy straps in
the parks to attach to a bottle to make it easier to carry. Take
regular drinks.
There
are water fountains throughout the parks, you can fill up your
bottles here.
Use
a high factor sunscreen, especially on children. Apply every couple
of hours, & more frequently if you are in the water.
Wear
a hat & sunglasses, to protect your head, face & eyes.
Don't
forget that UV rays can penetrate clouds, so it's important to
cover up even in cloudy weather.
Go
back to your hotel in the afternoon for a dip in the pool to cool
you off.
Cool
off in the one of the many interactive fountains that can be found
in the parks. (Don't forge to take spare clothing with you!)
Go
on a ride such as Splash Mountain or Kali River Rapids where you'll
get wet!
Being
hot is a great excuse to eat lots of ice cream! Another great
cooler is a shaved ice drink.
Buy
a mini fan, or even better a fan with a spray bottle attached.
Go
indoors, into an air-conditioned shop or attraction.
Try
to do the outdoor attractions in the morning, & save the indoor
attractions & shows until the afternoon when it's hotter.
Wear
light coloured clothing, dark colours will make you hotter.
