SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular

Lurking for spirited frights and family-friendly delights this Halloween? Look no further than SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular, with three fun-tastic weekends this year, Oct. 16-17, 23-24 and 30-31. Gaggles of goodies and safe Halloween fun await everyone with pint-sized, fiendish festivities.

Friendly and fanciful costumed characters haunt the park as little goblins participate in ghostly activities and enjoy unique, Halloween-themed entertainment. Shrieks and giggles abound with trick-or-treating, bewitching shows and autumn harvest décor. Children are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes in the park (for safety reasons, masks will not be permitted).

Spooktacular highlights include:

  • “Creepy Creatures at Pets Ahoy” show - SeaWorld’s popular “Pets Ahoy” show reveals its squeamish side as its four-legged stars team up with some of nature’s creepiest creatures. Spiders, cockroaches, bats, snakes and more will scurry and slither to scare up a ghoulishly good time.

  • “Clyde and Seamore’s Ghostly Pirate Cruise” show - SeaWorld’s famous sea lion comedy duo, Clyde and Seamore, set sail on an un-boo-lievable madcap adventure featuring ghosts, ghouls and boisterous buccaneers. This show is sure to tickle guests’ funny bones.

  • Shamu’s Spirited Spooktacular - Shamu Stadium takes a Halloween twist with a thrilling night show featuring SeaWorld’s killer whale family. There will be a kid-friendly, interactive pre-show, and during the show, Halloween-themed music sets the mood for the spectacle featuring the world-famous killer whale Shamu.

  • Shamu’s Halloween Harbor - Shamu and his crew invite tiny tots to experience the friendly fun of Shamu’s Halloween Harbor, a play area where tricks and treats await children at every turn. Here, families can enjoy trick-or-treat tables, costumed characters, stilt walkers and a cookie decorating station (nominal charge for cookie decorating).

  • Trick-or-Treating - Trick-or-treaters of all ages share in the fun. With 15 different trick-or-treat stations throughout the park, there are more Spooktacular candy locations than ever before.

  • Ghoulish Games and Creepy Crafts - A fun and fanciful area full of hands-on games and crafts hosted by the SeaWorld education department.

Park operating hours for SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular, Oct. 16-17, 23-24 and 30-31, are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Admission to Spooktacular is included with park admission. To learn more about SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular, visit www.seaworld.com or call toll-free 1-866-797-7373.
