Eating at
The Waterfront is an adventure in itself, with numerous venues that showcase cuisine
and entertainment from the world-over. An array of choices include indoor dining,
outdoor café seating, and dinner shows.
The Seafire Inn / Rico & Roza's
Musical Feast
Overlooking the harbor and the bustling energy of High Street,
The Seafire Inn has a rich history as the town tavern where sea-goers have traded
stories for centuries.
In a celebration of food, family and fun, proprietors
Rico and Roza regale park guests with tall tales and merry tunes during this 25-minute
musical revue. Love and laughter abound as the fun-loving couple prepare a family
feast for their guests, and plot to keep their beloved daughter, Brie, from leaving
home to seek adventure. Shows occur at various times throughout the day.
The
café-line eatery features a variety of food selections inspired from far-away
places. Choices feature stir-fry entrees cooked on a 4-foot Mongolian wok, half-pound
steak burgers with international toppings, coconut fried shrimp, chicken cordon
bleu club sandwiches and delectable Greek and Italian salads. Meal prices range
from $6.95 to $11.95.
The restaurant can seat up to 450 diners, both inside
and on the patio overlooking the harbor.
The Seafire Inn / Makahiki Luau
When
the sun sets over the harbor, this new nightly luau envelops guests in a bountiful
harvest celebration featuring exotic dances, amazing costumes and scenery, dazzling
lighting and special effects. From the moment the tribe lands ashore in their
ceremonial boat, the excitement is non-stop in this festive, fiery show that celebrates
man's co-existence with the earth and sea.
Dancers in colorful traditional
garb perform the native dances of Tahiti, Fiji, Marquesa and Hawaii and immerse
guests into the ancient customs, folklore and rhythms of these islands.
While
watching the celebration, guests dine on cuisine from the South Pacific including
teriyaki chicken, grilled mahi mahi, Kahlua pork with orange sauce, coconut muffins
and fruit-filled tropical sponge cake.
The luau is performed nightly at the
Seafire Inn. Prices are $37.95 for adults and $27.95 for children ages 3-9. Reservations
may be made by calling 1-800-327-2424 or by booking online at www.seaworld.com
