Day 3 - Monday
Everyone up, showered and dressed and out the door. On the way
to the bus for MGM, we stopped for another breakfast at the food
court. Ok, it’s getting old now and I can’t eat this
food again. It’s just not what I really like.
I never wrote down the exact order that we did everything in MGM.
I mostly remember the usual of hitting tower of terror and Rock
n’ roller coaster first. We figured we would try and hit it
again before the end of the day but if not, not biggie because we’ll
get the EMH later on the week. I do know that we pretty much hit
everything we wanted to. We didn’t do the Great Movie ride
though well, because we are a little sick of this one. I didn’t
want to watch the guy find the jewel again and fight the bad guys.
I’ve just had enough of that in the last few trips. I really
think this ride needs an update as well as Indiana Jones and Star
Tours. Now that all of the movies are out, hopefully they will update
these rides!
We ended up using our PR for 50’s prime time café
at 6:00 and were out with perfect timing to go up and hit Fantasmic!
Next time, I would probably make our ressies a little earlier so
that we can get better seating. They didn’t have the PR reservations
with fantasmic package for prime time café that night so
we ended up all the way on the top tier standing throughout the
whole show. No big deal though, I think we had the same view as
we did when we sat in the bleachers. Fantasmic! As usual was excellent
and our first timer (Kristen) loved it. Not to be missed and for
now, I’ll say that I couldn’t get tired of this one.
So, off we went back to the bus following the droves of crowds.
Bus service was a little slow this evening and we really didn’t
feel much like standing on a crowded but so we hung around a while
on the benches to wait for the next few buses. Waiting helped. It
probably would have taken just as much time anyway and we were able
to get 3 seats without a problem once we got on.
