Reviews

"Once checked in at Sammy Duvall's at the Contemporary, I was taken out on a boat onto Bay Lake. I was 'flying' alone, so there was just me and two instructors on the boat. After taking my shoes and socks off, I was strapped into a harness. Once out in the middle of the lake I walked to the back of the boat, where my harness was attached to the parachute. The instructor explained that I wouldn't have to go in the water when I came back down, I would land straight onto the boat. The boat speeded up and before I knew it I was high in the air over Bay Lake. The rise was so smooth I hardly even noticed! It's the most amazing feeling to be so high up, you really do feel like you're flying. The weather was beautiful and I could see for miles around (not that there's much to see apart from trees!). After around 10 minutes of flying high above Bay Lake, with incredible views of the Magic Kingdom, they gradually reeled me back onto the boat. The landing was very smooth and I ended up right back on the back of the boat where I had started. By the time my shoes and socks were back on we were back on dry land. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. If you're going to parasail, this is THE place to do it!" Joanne
