If you just want to buy something
from a shop inside one of the parks, but don't have a pass for the park,
you can enter the park for one hour just to shop. Tell them you want
to go into the park just to shop for an hour or less, you then pay for
a single day full price admission, & enter the park. If you return
to the ticket booth within an hour, you get your money back.
If you see something you really
like, buy it there & then, you may not see it in another shop.
If you change your mind once
you've bought something, just return it to any shop in WDW, with your
receipt, for a refund. It doesn't have to be the shop where you bought
the item.
If you're looking for a particular
item, ask a cast member, who may be able to track it down for you.
If you see something on sale
with a price that ends '.99', it means that the item is on sale or discontinued.
It may not be available for much longer, so buy it now!
If you decide you wish you'd
bought something once you get home, just call WDW mail order on 407
363-6200.
Disney Stores stock some things
that WDW sell, & you can return anything bought at WDW parks to
them for a refund. (for your nearest Disney Store call (818)265-4660)
If you're staying at a WDW
resort, tell the CM you want your purchases sent to your resort. This
service is free to resort guests, & your package you either be sent
to your resort room, or the resort shop for you to pickup the following
day. If you're not a Disney resort guest, you can have your package
sent to the main entrance for picking up as you leave the park.
If you want to pay by personal
check in a WDW shop you must present a valid photo ID (driver's license,
passport, ID card) and also a major credit card.
If you want to shop outside
of park opening hours don't forget the Downtown Disney Marketplace keeps
longer hours - 9:30a.m. to 11p.m. daily, and usually leaves its doors
open until midnight during the busier seasons.
If you're staying at a WDW
resort, ask at the front desk if you can have charging priveleges on
your resort card. You will need to leave your credit card details at
the front desk. You can then pay for most things with your resort card,
and settle the bill at the end of your stay.
If you want to hunt down some
Disney bargains, head for Belz Factory Outlet. Character Premiere is
located in Mall #1. And Character Warehouse can be found in Mall #2.
Both of these stores carry official Disney merchandise. Most of the
items were either discontinued, overstocked, or irregulars. Stock changes
daily.

"If you are visiting
South Florida (Miami & Ft. Lauderdale), visit the Disney Store at Sawgrass
Mills Mall. This store sells the Park's exclusive merchandise at a discounted
rate. A great place to find the official Walt Disnet World shirts and
souveniers for a quarter of the price in the park. I bought the vilans'
clock that goes for $65 at MGM for $21!" Juan
