Official All Star Cafe

The biggest names (Andre Agassi, Wayne Gretzky, Ken Griffey, Jr., Joe Montana, Shaq O’Neal, Monica Seles, Tiger Woods) have put their favourite munchables on the menu and authentic memorabilia on the walls.

Milkhouse

With over 30,000 square feet of competition space on the bottom floor alone, this state-of-the-art facility is one of the most unique venues the sports world has seen in decades. The Fieldhouse features unprecedented flexibility, new age playing surfaces, custom athlete training areas, and new "Florida Picturesque" construction. Wrestling, martial arts, basketball, and inline hockey are only a few of the sports that can take place in the Milkhouse.

Inside, beautiful ballroom-style finished hallways and stairwells that are decorated with coloured tiles and luxury fixtures surround fans. The brightly painted ceiling with sprawling trusses and special up-lighting give the cosy arena an open, universal feel. Of the 5,000 seats, the highest row in the Fieldhouse is only 35 feet off the ground, providing for up-close viewing of the action!

No detail has been missed to ensure that all athletes have a five-star experience in this facility -- whether attending a health session in one of the four classrooms, working out in the 3,000-square-foot strength-and-conditioning room with Hammer Strength® and York equipment, or utilizing one of the spacious custom Akira wood professional lockers that have safety features and a lower storage area. The built-in wood Connor playing surface holds up to four regulation basketball courts. The auxiliary area (an additional 17,000-plus square feet) can hold two additional courts or be used as a warm-up area as it is conveniently located on top of the locker room area.

Tennis

With serves slicing the air at over 130 miles per hour, you may wish your seat were a little farther away! But Disney’s Wide World of Sports intimate Centre Court stadium provides every fan with an up-close view of all the tennis action. There are more than 1,000 permanent seats courtside with an additional 7,500 seats that can be added for larger events. This 11-court venue brings world-class tennis events to Central Florida every year, including U.S. Men’s Clay Court Tennis Championships every April. Baseball

This is the place that major-league baseball’s Atlanta Braves begin their hunt to become World Series champs every year. Disney’s Wide World of Sports baseball stadium was designed to replicate the best any professional stadium has to offer. Its unique architecture features towering archways, green tile roofing, deep seating bowl, designer tile flooring, classic lighting, and first-class turf which make it a place to be remembered by fans and athletes alike. With over 9,500 seats (80 percent of those between first and third base), four luxury skyboxes, and two open-air suites, the double-decker stadium is the tallest of all spring training sites and offers all the amenities of a state-of-the-art facility. From comfortable extra-wide seating to concourse hospitality areas for entertaining to the convenient baseball-themed merchandise stores, spectators will enjoy an intimate sports experience like no other. The Atlanta Braves feel right at home in this sensational spring training site with suite level executive offices and a conference room that overlooks the stadium field. Atlanta Braves General Manager John Schuerholz calls it "the finest baseball spring training facility in the world -- bar none."

Track & Field Complex

With its state-of-the-art surfaces and equipment, the Track & Field complex at Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex is destined to be one of the world’s premier competition and training facilities for state, national, and international events. Designed to the exact specifications of the International Amateur Athletic Federation (IAAF), the world governing body for track and field, Disney’s Wide World of Sport complex features all the amenities of a modern world-class facility.

A close look at the track reveals a double-layer Martin Surfacing ISS-1000 Encapsulated Finish Polyurethane Surface. That’s technical talk for a sprinter's paradise, because this track is made for running fast. Nine 48-inch lanes offer wide-angle turns for the swiftest sprint transitions. Double straightaways allow sprint and hurdle races on both sides. Additional features include:

- Three shot-put rings
- Two discus/hammer rings
- Javelin runway
- Two high-jump areas
- Two interior horizontal jump runways with pits
- Two pole-vault runways with landing zones
- Tifway 419 Bermuda turf
- Toro’s DR2 5000 irrigation system
- Countdown timers/ performance measurement indicators
- Wind gauges
- UCS Olympic-style hurdles
- Two UCS pole-vault pits with standards up to 21 feet
- Two UCS high-jump pits with standards
- Grandstands offer seating for approximately 500 fans and have the ability to expand. Portable trailers are available for press, scoring, administrative, and clerking activities.

Sports Fields

Four fabulous fields of dreams provide a majestic setting for football, soccer, and many other sports. Located near the Milkhouse, the spacious and versatile sports fields feature four grass-playing surfaces with international soccer dimensions. They are covered with fast, elegant Tifway 419 Bermuda turf and crowned with a 1% slope to enhance drainage. In addition to football and soccer, the sports fields can accommodate events in lacrosse, archery, and field hockey. Four separate events can be contested on the fields simultaneously, or all four may be combined for the same tournament. The field adjacent to the Fieldhouse is equipped for night play. Each field can seat 10,000 fans. Meeting space, locker and training rooms, and strength and conditioning facilities are located nearby in the Fieldhouse.

Baseball Quadraplex

Located in the shadows of the magnificent baseball stadium, this stunning venue features four professional fields and one practice infield. Each field is constructed on native soil and eight inches of root zone mix, the finest Tifway 419 Bermuda turf commonly seen in major league parks. Field C is equipped for night play. Plenty of ball will also be played away from the fields. The area between Field C and Field D is equipped with 10,000 square feet of batting tunnels, pitching mounds, four hitting tunnels, and four masters pitching machines. A pitching area sporting 10 bullpens lies between Field A and Field B. The Atlanta Braves organization utilizes the Baseball Quadraplex during spring training, and we host an exciting array of baseball tournaments, training sessions, clinics, and fantasy camps.

Youth Baseball Fields

Located just a home run blast away from the fields where the Atlanta Braves and other major league baseball superstars throw, catch, and hit, the Youth Baseball Fields at Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex host the sport’s next generation of heroes during exciting baseball tournaments. Aspiring young players feel like big-leaguers with many of the features found in the professional baseball facilities:

- Tifway 419 Bermuda turf.
- The infields offer a major league quality mix of 60% sand and 40% clay.
- Warning tracks are eight feet wide and made of a beautiful crushed red brick.
- The drainage system is engineered to disperse up to seven inches of rainfall per hour.
- Two dugouts per field with enclosed bullpens
- 200-foot outfield dimensions to all fields
- Six-foot outfield fences, and bleacher seating for 250 spectators per field.
Fields are wired for power pitching machines, and portable batting cages are also available.

Softball Quadraplex

The Softball Quadraplex was the first venue to be completed at Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex and features four softball diamonds in a giant circular pattern. Outfield fences measure 305 feet in a perfectly symmetrical configuration. Temporary fences are available for games when shorter distances are required. Each field accommodates fastpitch and slowpitch softball and features bullpens for both teams as well as spacious dugouts and 16 helmet/equipment boxes per dugout. Grass surfaces are top-of-the-line Tifway 419 Bermuda turf. Fields can drain five to seven inches of rainfall per hour. One centrally located tower overlooking all four diamonds offers all the latest conveniences including press facilities, concession stands, and an area for scorekeepers and officials.

Cross Country

The Scenic Cross Country Course incorporates Disney’s World Wide of Sports world class multi sports fields, Track and Field Complex and a 0.7 mile wooded trail. The relatively flat course provides a few, small rises, which encourages each athlete to strive for his or her personal best.
